The Maine Mobile Health Program (MMHP) has been serving the community since 1986. We work across the state to serve rural populations through our mobile health services. Our work focuses on populations who may have a hard time accessing healthcare. We provide accessible healthcare services to farm workers and others by addressing their unique needs. We strive to improve community health by providing comprehensive primary care and referrals, regardless of a patient’s ability to pay. Many of our services are free or on a sliding scale. Our work helps to act as a bridge between our patients and the broader healthcare system.

This entity receives HRSA Health Center Program funding under 42 U.S.C. § 245b and has been deemed a Public Health Service employee for purposes of certain liability protections, including Federal Tort Claims Act coverage, under 42 U.S.C. § 233(g)-(n).
